Finding Our Way – feature film screenplay (unproduced)

Finding Our Way is a relationship drama (PG).

Welsey is taking Katie camping.  It is there he is going to propose marriage.  However, Katie has a secret that has been tormenting her for more than a month.  This secret could kill their relationship.  Upon learning her secret, Wesley says things that upset Katie enough that she runs away.  Wesley packs up camp, but knows that he needs to find Katie so she doesn’t get lost in the woods.  When he finally finds her, they quickly realize that they are lost, and must work together to survive, when together is the last place they want to be.

Then, when Katie and Wesley are finally talking about the chances they can stay together, a fourteen year old girl literally runs into them in the woods.  She had been abducted a long time ago and has escaped the monster of a man that was holding her captive.  She is extremely afraid of all men, and is reluctant to allow the couple to help her.  But when the man that imprisoned her comes after them, the couple needs to find a way back to their camp, and back to safety.
